How do I get the Zoom Link for Livestream Classes?

After you book the class, you will be sent a Zoom Link. It is in the booking confirmation email. You will also be sent a reminder email 24 hours before class that includes the link.  You can also access the link by logging into your account and looking under "My Bookings". 

I'm a Monthly Member, do I still need to sign up for Livestream classes?

Yes, even though classes are included with your membership you still need to sign up to get the Zoom link and recording.  If you missed the class but want to do the recording, you can access the Recent Recordings collection in the video library.  

Can I get a recording of a Livestream class?

After class, everyone who is registered will be emailed a link a recording.  You can view the recording for 3 FULL days (72 hours) plus the hours the day you receive it.  So that's approx. 84 hours.   It is non-downloadable.  

What does sliding scale mean?

We aim to make our classes accessible as possible. Our drop-in classes are offered on a sliding scale of price points. We encourage you to pay within your current means when considering your options.  The lowest end of the scale covers the basic expense of operating online classes.  Direct compensation to the teacher is what the higher price points offer.  If you cannot afford to pay for classes at this time, please contact us and we will work something out.

Is there a booking cut off time?

We recommend booking at least 5 minutes before class because you need time to receive the Zoom link.  We will not guarantee bookings made after that time although the system will allow you to do it. 

Can I cancel a class after I book it?

Yes, but you must cancel at least 10 minutes prior to a class start time.  If you paid with a drop-in class, it will be returned to your account for future use. All drop-in classes have an expiry of 3 months from date of purchase.

Is there an expiry on single classes?

Yes, single classes have a 3 month expiry.  Unused classes expire 3 months after purchase.  At this time we are only offering single classes or memberships. 

What if I encounter IT issues and cannot join the class?

Marigold is not responsible for IT issues on the end of the user (student).  If there is an IT issue with the Marigold Virtual Platform and it cannot be resolved and/or class is cancelled students will receive a coupon code to make up the class another time.  If you experience an IT issue on your end that is beyond your control, please email us to explain the situation.

Do I need to have my video on?

It is up to you if you would like to have your video on or off.  However, having your video on will allow the teacher to interact with students more like they would in an in-person class.

How do I access On-demand?

Become a monthly member.  You can start with a free 7 day trial.  Once you have joined, simply log-in to your account to unlock all of our on-demand content.

How many videos are in the library?

We maintain a video library of 90 classes minimum.  The on-demand library contains videos of various lengths and styles. We reserve the right to change or remove content at our discretion.

How often do you add new content to the Library?

We add fresh content regularly, guaranteed!  In addition to recent zoom recordings (that's 4 new classes every week), we will also add a minimum of 8 new on-demand videos every month.  Marigold reserves the right to change or remove content at our discretion.

Can I download classes?

No, our on-demand content is streamed so you will need an internet connection.

Do you have to be a member to use on-demand.

There is a small selection of videos on-demand for rent.  If you are not a member, you can purchase a rental from this collection for 72 hour access.

Can I try it before I join?

Our Membership starts with a free 7 day trial.  You must cancel before the end of your trial period or you will automatically be charged the monthly subscription fee when it's over.  

Is Monthly Membership auto-renewed?

Monthly Membership is a subscription.  It is recurring payment, auto-renewed every month. You can cancel anytime!

What happens if I want to cancel my membership?

Cancel your membership anytime. You will not be charged the next scheduled payment.  Note you will not be refunded for the current billing period.

Can I put my membership on hold?

Unfortunately you cannot put your membership on hold.  However, you can cancel anytime and rejoin when you are ready.

What rate do I pay for my membership?

You will be charged the subscription rate offered at the time of your agreement to subscribe. If you cancel and rejoin you will be charged the current subscription rate.

Do I have to sign up for Live Classes if they are included?

Yes, so that you get the Zoom Link and recording sent to you.

How many live classes are included?

When you are a member you can take as many live classes as you like!  Please note, that our live schedule is subject to change and classes may be periodically cancelled around holidays or for circumstances beyond our control.

Tech Help

I can't join the zoom class?

Make sure you have downloaded and installed Zoom on your device prior to your first class.  Zoom often has required updates that may effect your ability to join.  Check that you have installed the latest Zoom updates.

Is there someone I can get to help me?

You are welcome to email us with your questions pertaining to our platform. Please note, we are not available on an on-call basis or as personal IT consultants. For individual IT support beyond our platform, please consult a professional.
